Full Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to plan, organise, and execute a wide range of events. This role requires someone with a naturally bubbly personality who thrives in social environments, builds strong relationships with ease, and ensures every event runs smoothly from concept through to completion

Plan, coordinate, and deliver events including corporate functions, conferences, and social gatherings
Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution
Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams to align expectations and deliver outcomes
Oversee on-site event operations, troubleshooting issues in real time
Coordinate event setup, run sheets, and pack-down activities
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures
Conduct post-event evaluations and provide insights for continuous improvement
Must have a vast understanding of various cultures and customs.
Handle queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence.
Assist with the management of all wedding and function bookings with a full understanding of function areas and capacities, efficiently coordinating covers.
Liaise promptly and frequently with clients via phone and email, as well as, in person, providing support to clients throughout the planning process and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
Liaise with kitchen and front-of-house supervisors in the lead up to and during events.
Assist Management with the planning and execution of large-scale events such a expos and menu tasting.
Maintain a calendar of events and promotions.
Identify and develop relationships with key wedding and event platforms and vendors.
Promote and market the venue, developing its public profile and market presence, and identify new opportunities to attract potential clients.
Be available to work evenings and on weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Abbotsbury NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (Preferred)
