Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
Hawkesbury District Hospital is seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Midwives to join our supportive and dynamic Maternity Services team. Located in a growing community, our service is committed to providing high-quality, woman-centred care across the full continuum of maternity services.
Hawkesbury Hospital Maternity Services consists of a Midwifery-led Antenatal Clinic, Antenatal and Postnatal inpatient care, a Birthing Unit supporting over 600 births per year from 34 weeks’ gestation, and a Midwifery in the Home program. Midwives at Hawkesbury are provided opportunities to work across all areas of our Maternity Services, allowing for a diverse and enriching clinical experience. You will be supported by our Clinical Midwifery Educator in developing your career pathway, with a strong focus on ongoing learning, skill development, and professional growth.
This is an exciting time to join our team, with future planning for the implementation of MAPS program, further enhancing continuity of care and expanding models of midwifery practice within our service.
