Our eDiscovery & Cyber Forensic team plays a key role in supporting complex litigation, regulatory investigations and cyber/data breach matters through high-quality, technology-enabled solutions.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and growing the firm’s eDiscovery and Cyber Forensic capability nationally. You’ll combine strategic oversight, client advisory and hands-on technical leadership, working closely with partners and senior stakeholders to deliver commercially driven outcomes while continuing to evolve our legal technology offering.
About the role:
- Lead and grow the eDiscovery and Cyber Forensic practice, including service offerings, pricing strategy and delivery models
- Take ownership of financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability and cost management
- Identify and execute opportunities to expand legal technology services and develop new revenue streams
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, clients and stakeholders on eDiscovery strategy, data handling and cyber/data breach response
- Lead client engagements end-to-end, from scoping and solution design through to delivery oversight
- Remain actively involved in the technical delivery of matters, including hands-on use and oversight of Relativity workflows
- Oversee all eDiscovery and cyber forensic matters, ensuring defensible, efficient and high-quality outcomes
- Provide strategic oversight and escalation support on complex or high-risk matters
- Set the technical direction of the practice, including optimisation of platforms such as Relativity and the use of analytics and AI-enabled workflows
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and innovation-focused culture
About you:
- Extensive experience in eDiscovery, legal technology or cyber forensics, ideally within a law firm or consulting environment
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and/or service delivery functions
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in pricing, budgeting and cost management
- Deep understanding of the EDRM lifecycle and defensible data handling practices
- Strong, hands-on experience with Relativity, with the ability and willingness to work at a technical level when required (RCA or similar certification preferred)
- Experience leading data breach response matters, including PII identification and review workflows
- Exposure to analytics, AI-assisted review and GenAI/LLM-enabled workflows
- A pragmatic and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical, commercially sound solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working with partners, senior lawyers and client
