$103,956 salary package - includes base salary $91,590, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro rata for part time position)

About the role
As an Assessor with TAFE NSW, you will carry out independent assessments and grading for students, with a focus to support students in achieving the completion of tasks and identify areas that may require further training.
You will be part of a collaborative team of early childhood education professionals within a supportive and engaging environment, where you will facilitate and guide students through their work placements, supporting them as they gain practical experience in early childhood education settings or on TAFE NSW campuses, while assessing their practical skills through simulated activities.
Note: This role does not teach or deliver training.

About You
You are a dedicated professional who is organised, proactive and approachable. You communicate clearly, embrace digital tools, and genuinely enjoy supporting adult learners. You value inclusive relationships and take pride in motivating learners and helping them succeed.
If you meet the following criteria we’d love to hear from you:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Evidence of holding the appropriate qualifications to assess Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document here for details.
- Demonstrated understanding of VET and Higher Education regulatory compliance requirements.
- Understanding of the content of learning materials and the processes used in the discipline, and a commitment to maintain professional currency.
- Willingness and ability to travel to complete assessor visits as per business needs
