Senior Peer Worker – Pathways to Community Living Initiative

About the role
The Pathways to Community Living Initiative is seeking a Senior Peer Worker to support people transitioning through rehabilitation to community living. This role is part of a multidisciplinary unit treating team, PCLI and the Peer Work team.
Within the role you will provide guidance, advocacy and hope to consumers as they navigate complex mental health challenges, while contributing to the planning, development and implementation of the PCLI model of care.
As a senior member of the Peer Workforce, you will provide leadership, mentoring and supervision to peer colleagues across the Local Health District, helping to strengthen best practice and ensure high‑quality service delivery. The position also plays an active role in service development, research, health promotion and system advocacy, contributing to ongoing quality improvement and evaluation activities.
You will have opportunities to connect with Peer Workers across the state, participate in funded professional development and engage in regular networking. A commitment to maintaining your own wellbeing and reflective practice is essential, ensuring you can continue to support others effectively while working within this innovative and recovery‑oriented program.
