SALARY: $77,044 - $88,259 p.a. + Super

Work Type: Permanent Full Time

Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Revenue Officer – Debtors to join our Financial Services team. In this role, you will support Council’s financial operations by providing accurate debtor administration, timely revenue processing and responsive customer service.

You will be responsible for maintaining debtor records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, following up outstanding matters and contributing to month-end and year-end activities. You will also support continuous improvement in systems and processes to enhance efficiency, service quality and data accuracy.

Essential:

Certificate III in Financial Services / Accounting and/or relevant industry experience in sundry debtors management,
Excellent customer service skills.
Proven ability to relate to and deal with a diverse range of customers.
Sound knowledge and application of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Excellent communication skills.
Conflict resolution skills
Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the broader goals of the team.
Ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times.

Desirable:

An understanding of Local Governing financial environment.
Use of Local Government financial software such as Civica Authority.
