La Baguette Café is an award-winning café and restaurant located in the heart of Berwick Village. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Barista & Café All-Rounder to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional looking for a stable full-time role with predominantly daytime hours while taking on additional responsibilities within a well-established and respected café.

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on team member who is confident managing the coffee section, supporting front-of-house operations, and assisting with the day-to-day running of the café.
This is not a junior role. We are seeking someone who can take ownership of their work, work independently when required, and support management in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality coffee and beverages to a consistent standard
- Operating and maintaining coffee equipment
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Taking customer orders and processing payments
- Running food and beverages to tables
- Managing floor service during busy periods
- Opening and closing duties as required
- Assisting with stock replenishment and inventory control
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting ordering requirements
- Receiving and checking supplier deliveries
- Assisting with supplier orders in the absence of the Café Manager
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the venue
- Supporting the team across all front-of-house operations
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the café
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barista in a busy café environment
- Strong coffee-making skills with excellent milk texturing and latte art
- Experience in table service and front-of-house operations
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Experience with stock control or inventory management
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional presentation
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Full working rights in Australia
- Availability to work weekends on a regular basis
What We Offer
- Full-time position (38–40 hours per week)
- Salary package of $65,000 – $70,000 + Superannuation, depending on experience
