About Us

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, known for our quality products and strong customer partnerships.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Branch Administrator to join our team in Toowoomba on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Branch Coordinator, this role plays a key part in supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the branch. You will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure processes run smoothly, contributing to overall efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

Process purchase orders and vendor invoices
Process Service Department work orders
Coordinate timesheet processing and provide payroll support
Maintain branch records and documentation
Compile information required for internal and external audits
Manage office facility bookings and coordinate internal and external meetings
Perform branch reception duties, including answering and directing calls
Provide general administrative support across the branch

About You

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

Previous experience in a similar administrative role
High attention to detail and strong level of accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Intermediate MS Office skills, including Word and Excel
The ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
Experience with work order processing (advantageous)
Exposure to fleet coordination and/or payroll support (advantageous)
