About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values its team members, offers a supportive working environment, and has a genuine desire to develop its people.

This is a 2.5 days per week role across Monday, Tuesday & Friday.

You play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Residence is appropriately staffed - at all times, to deliver quality care to residents while also maintaining a positive work environment. You will be an important member of the frontline team, responsible for effective rostering which is crucial in meeting the unique needs of our residents.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Staff Scheduling: Developing and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of residents. This involves coordinating the availability of different staff members, taking into account their qualifications, preferences, and contractual obligations.
Managing Shift Changes: Handling requests for shift changes, leave, or time off and finding suitable replacements when necessary to maintain staffing levels.
Communication: Maintaining effective communication with staff members to inform them of their schedules, shift changes and any updates or important information related to their work.
Coordination with Management: Collaborating with the facility's management team to align staffing needs with budgetary constraints and optimize workforce management.
Varied administrative duties to support the General Services Manager and Residence Manager
Welcoming and attending to visitor enquiries
First point of contact for phone enquiries

Skills & Experience

Ability to manage rostering and team member allocations.
Experience using employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target.
Demonstrated administrative skills
Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
Friendly and effective communication abilities.
