ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer with a well-respected engineering consultancy. The successful applicant will provide technical expertise across a wide variety of residential, aged care, commercial, industrial and storage facility projects including multi-storey developments.
Projects incorporate a broad range of construction materials including timber, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, light gauge steel and structural steel. The role will involve regular client meetings and site inspections throughout project delivery to ensure successful project outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Full working rights in Australia including Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience with a minimum of 2 years Australian engineering experience
- A relevant tertiary engineering qualification
- Demonstrated experience delivering multi-storey building projects
- Mandatory experience in light gauge steel design specialising in self storage
- Experience in storage facility and industrial developments
- Experience in reinforced and/or post-tensioned concrete design
- Experience using a range of structural engineering software platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sound technical knowledge of Australian Standards and local authority requirements
- Familiarity with AS/NZS 4600 and cold-formed steel design principles
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- A motivated and proactive approach to project delivery

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
