About the opportunity

The Team Leader Warehouse (Morning Shift) focuses on the supervision & support of the Warehouse team and ensures the daily functions are managed and completed to deadlines.

About you

You will be a natural people leader that is approachable and supportive and have demonstrated ability in prioritising competing tasks within a fast-paced environment. You will be an open communicator and will have the drive and determination to meet timeframes while supporting employees to adhere to hygienic practices & product flow. Some of the responsibilities on shift will be to:

Supervise & direct the daily operations of the Warehouse areas to support the delivery of speed to fridge
Provide daily operational plans that meet the requirements of internal and external customers
Resolve daily workflow issues ensuring efficient running of lines
Maintain responsibility for product mix and quality allocation
Ensure correct storage and rotation of product
Ensure accurate & efficient order assembly
Ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained
Assist in managing performance and development team members
Maintain compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Ensure compliance at all times with Food Safety and Quality requirements

You will bring:

Experience in a leadership position ideally in food production
Excellent communication
High levels of attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise competing tasks
Commitment to Health, Safety and Quality policies and procedures
High Risk (Forklift) licence (preferred)

Please note must be available to work across the hours consistent of Warehouse Morning Shifts for coverage. Some weekend & Public Holiday work will be required as part of ongoing rosters.
