Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our acute medical ward with strong focus on palliative care on a permanent, part-time basis.
About the Role
In this leadership role, you will play an integral part in delivering exceptional, patient-centred care. Working closely with our Nurse Unit Manager and a highly skilled team of nurses, doctors, and support staff, you will contribute to excellent patient outcomes while fostering a positive, supportive and professional workplace culture.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will take on day-to-day clinical leadership responsibilities, support your colleagues in their professional growth, and be actively involved in problem-solving within the clinical setting.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be a dedicated and compassionate nurse with excellent clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
You will also bring:

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.

Minimum of 4 years’ expereince in an acute hospital setting.

Relevant postgraduate qualifications (highly regarded).

Flexibility to work across a rotating roster.

A sound understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration requirements.
