What You’ll Be Doing:

Community Support: Engage with participants in their daily lives, providing encouragement and assistance in a variety of settings.
Camps & Programs: Help facilitate fun and engaging activities that promote social skills and community participation.
One-on-One Support: Build strong, supportive relationships with participants to enhance their independence and confidence.
Documentation & Note-Taking: Maintain accurate records of sessions and participant progress, ensuring clear communication with the team.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to develop and implement strategies for supporting participants effectively.

What You Bring to the Table:

Availability: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Cert 4 in Disability (or equivalent): Essential for this role!
NDIS Certificates or Willing to Obtain: Key to understanding our participants' needs.
Experience with Special Needs: Life or on-the-job experience with people with special needs is a must.
Inclusive & Equal: You value respect, equality, and inclusion of all.
Spread Smiles: You brighten people’s days with your positive energy.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with digital tools, note-taking, and documentation.
Driver's License & Own Vehicle: Reliable car with insurance required.
CPR & First Aid Certification, Police Check: Mandatory for participant safety.
Accredited Medication Course You must complete an accredited course in either; HLTHPS006 (Assist clients with medication) or HLTHPS007 (Administer and monitor medications).
Hands-On & People Person: Confident working one-on-one or in groups.
Creative & Team Player: You bring new ideas and enjoy working in a supportive team.
Resilience & Relatability: You’re understanding, open-minded, and positive.
Sense of Humor: A must! You love sharing a laugh and creating joy.
