Female Disability Support Worker – Crows Nest & Five Dock
Supporting Needs Pty Ltd is expanding and we're looking for a female Disability Support Worker to support participants in Crows Nest and Five Dock.
We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker who is passionate about helping people live independently and achieve their goals. Experience in disability support, aged care, community services, or similar fields is highly regarded, however we also welcome applications from motivated individuals with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
We are seeking someone who is energetic, compassionate, reliable, and confident with domestic assistance, particularly cleaning, household organisation, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe and tidy home environment.
About the role
You will be supporting participants both in-home and in the community, helping them build independence, confidence, and everyday life skills.
Duties may include:
- Domestic assistance and household cleaning
- General home organisation and light housekeeping
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Supporting participants to attend appointments and community activities
- Community access, social outings, and transport
- Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
- Building positive and professional relationships with participants and families
- Completing shift notes and required documentation
About you
- Female support worker
- Strong cleaning and household management skills
- Young, energetic, and proactive
- Studying (or interested in) Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, or a related field (highly regarded)
- Passionate about working in the disability sector
- Patient, compassionate, respectful, and professional
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Essential requirements
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Access to a reliable and insured vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $43.23 – $80.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
