Ozcare has a casual opportunity available for an Administration Support Officer based out of our Mackay Aged Care Facility. This role will require you to work one weekend per fortnight, with opportunities for additional shifts to cover planned and unplanned leave.

Your Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for the service, managing our reception and being part of a busy administration team who provide professional and efficient support to the team.

Your tasks will include:

General administrative support duties (including general reception, answering phones, emails etc).
Management of incoming and outgoing mail.
Providing advice and information on Ozcare’s products and services.
Preparing detailed documents.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Your Attributes

We’re looking for a person who has what it takes to support our team to deliver exceptional services to our clients.

You will have:

Excellent time management skills.
A professional phone manner.
The willingness to go the extra mile.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work autonomously and ensure your tasks are completed on time.
Must have extensive rostering experience and be available to work a rotating roster.
Experience working in aged care environment would be desirable.

Role Requirements

Police Screening Certificate (with validity in past 3-years)
Current Queensland Drivers License.
Certificate IV in Administration or equivalent experience.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
