Pool Aide (Trinity INTL Pty Ltd) is seeking an experienced ICT & Automation Systems Manager for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing role working 38 hours per week based in Lindfield, NSW.
Pool Aide is a leading swimming pool and spa service, maintenance and technology company specialising in premium residential and commercial aquatic facilities. The business incorporates advanced pool automation systems, robotic cleaning technologies, remote monitoring solutions, smart controllers, water chemistry management systems and integrated digital service platforms.
The ICT & Automation Systems Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsible for the overall management, implementation and support of Pool Aide’s ICT infrastructure, automation systems and technology platforms.
- Manage the deployment, configuration and maintenance of swimming pool automation systems, smart controllers and remote monitoring technologies.
- Oversee the integration of automation platforms including Jandy iAquaLink, AstralPool Connect, Pentair IntelliCenter, Hayward OmniLogic and other connected pool technologies.
- Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies that improve operational efficiency, customer service and business performance.
- Manage software platforms used for scheduling, customer relationship management, field service operations, inventory management and business reporting.
- Coordinate the integration of automation equipment, telemetry devices, sensors and cloud-based monitoring systems.
- Manage electronic diagnostics, fault finding and repair processes relating to automated pool equipment, chlorination systems, dosing systems, robotic cleaners, heat pumps and communication networks.
- Lead ICT projects including software implementation, system upgrades, technology rollouts and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop business requirements, process improvements and technology solutions to support company growth.
- Manage relationships with technology suppliers, software developers, equipment manufacturers and external service providers.
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, cybersecurity and network reliability across business operations.
- Establish service delivery standards, performance metrics and operational reporting systems.
- Coordinate staff training and technical support relating to automation systems, mobile applications and digital platforms.
- Research, evaluate and implement emerging technologies including robotics, artificial intelligence, predictive maintenance and remote diagnostics solutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams, contractors and technology partners.
- Ensure all technology systems comply with relevant industry standards, manufacturer requirements and business policies.
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications and work experience:
- Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Automation Technology or a closely related field.
- Alternatively, at least five years of relevant ICT management experience may substitute for formal qualifications where permitted under ANZSCO requirements.
- Minimum three years’ experience in ICT management, service delivery management, automation systems management, electronic systems management or technology leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing connected technologies, automation systems, IoT devices, telemetry platforms, electronic control systems or industrial automation systems.
- Experience with software integrations, cloud-based platforms and digital service delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of networking, remote communications, electronic diagnostics and system troubleshooting.
- Experience managing projects, vendors, stakeholders and technical service delivery teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
