About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to step into the events industry or build on your existing experience in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
As an Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality events—supporting clients from their initial enquiry right through to event execution. You’ll be the first point of contact for many clients and will work closely with internal teams to ensure every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
This role is perfect for someone who is organised, people-focused, and eager to learn, with plenty of training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for client enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Guide clients through the event journey for smaller functions—from enquiry to confirmation
- Coordinate event details, including timelines, catering, requirements, and documentation
- Prepare proposals, contracts, run sheets, and client communications
- Liaise with operations, marketing, and venue teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Assist with event setup and provide on-the-day support to ensure successful execution
- Manage bookings, schedules, site tours, and client appointments
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/event systems
- Provide general administrative and team support as needed
About You
- A qualification in events, hospitality or a related field or relevant experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, or customer service is advantageous but not essential
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- A confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences
- Proactive, positive, and eager to learn
- Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who takes initiative and ownership
Additional (desirable):
- Knowledge of WHS, RSA/RCG (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with event operations or venue environments
