Job Description

Interact is a leading provider of allied health, occupational health and safety, and injury management services to the regions of New South Wales. Committed to providing exceptional care and support to injured workers in local communities across New South Wales, our focus is on family values and personalised care to tailor a rehabilitation plan for each individual.

The role:

Case management for injured workers in the western suburbs who are needing physical and/or psychological support to return them back to employment
Taking a more holistic care approach, establish key relationships with health professionals and work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing
Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including the injured employee, employer, medical specialists and other allied health professionals to develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans.
Support large government employers and employees through our existing clients and growing relationships with organisations such as Allianz TMF (Department of Education, Department of Communities and Justice, Transport NSW) and GIO.

What will make you successful:

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy. Exercise Physiologists or Physiotherapists may also be considered
Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ESSA as an EP)
Strong clinical reasoning
Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
Passion to help people rehabilitate
