A Network Infrastructure professional at First Focus is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise network environments for Australian and international clients. The role focuses on maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing network systems while delivering excellent technical support and meeting SLA targets in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
Typical Job Description:
Main responsibilities commonly include:
Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple client environments
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, wireless networks, and cloud connectivity
Monitor network performance, uptime, and security to ensure stable operations
Resolve network incidents, outages, and connectivity issues with minimal downtime
Perform installations, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
Work with technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, VLANs, QoS, and SolarWinds
Handle escalations and collaborate with engineering and service desk teams
Maintain documentation, technical reports, and client updates
Deliver technical support through remote tools, ticketing systems, and client communication channels
Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in network administration or infrastructure support
Knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall technologies
Strong troubleshooting and customer support skills
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud networking, and ITSM tools
Excellent English communication skills
Certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or Microsoft certifications are highly valued.
