Full Job Description

SmartClinics Annerley is a well-established practice offering high-quality care to the local community of Annerley. This mixed billing practice has a welcoming, collegiate culture and is situated in a Non-DPA location, offering excellent nursing and administration staff, as well as on-site allied health services.

Due to high patient demand, we are seeking General Practitioners who are looking for a full patient load to join our growing team.

About the location

Annerley is a suburb just 6.2 km south of Brisbane CBD. Much of the suburb is elevated, lying on the ridge that gives amazing views of the CBD. For many years, this suburb was seen as a somewhat run-down location. However, due to gentrification, many of the original Queenslanders have been restored to their former glory, giving the suburb a mix of residences of all socio-economic areas.

The suburb is one of Brisbane’s hidden gems. It offers excellent convenience and accessibility with frequent public transport connections and main roads nearby. There are a large number of shops, cafes, and dining options that cater to all tastes and budgets. Green spaces are abundant, with parks and reserves perfect for outdoor activities that the whole family will enjoy.

State-of-the-art practice facilities and consulting environment
Five GPs who have happily practised at the clinic for many years
Nominated GP Lead to support incoming doctors
Highly experienced nursing and reception teams, and Practice Manager
A collegiate work environment with regular clinical meetings run by the GPs
Pre-existing list of friendly and loyal patients, a mix of tradespeople, professionals and rural workers
Mixed billing practice with a high private billing rate
Open Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm
Innovative practice optimising online bookings, e-scripts, e-referrals, and video telehealth
