Clinic Operating Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) at HelloDr Blackstone, you will work closely with General Practitioners, Nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals to provide nutritional counselling and intervention to a wide range of patients. You’ll support clients in managing conditions such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, digestive disorders, and food allergies/intolerances.
This is a patient-facing, outcome-driven role that balances clinical excellence with a warm, supportive approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual nutritional assessments and develop personalised care plans
- Provide evidence-based dietary advice for chronic disease management and prevention
- Collaborate with GPs and the care team to support coordinated patient treatment plans
- Support patients in goal-setting, motivation, and long-term behaviour change
- Deliver education sessions for individuals and/or small groups where required
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Best Practice software
- Stay up to date with evolving nutrition research, industry standards, and Medicare item use
- Assist in developing health promotion initiatives in line with community needs
About You
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with current DAA (Dietitians Australia) registration
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
- Confidence in consulting independently and managing a varied caseload
- Warm, respectful communication style and excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in chronic disease management or GP clinic work is highly regarded
- Proficient in patient record management and care plan documentation
- Valid Police Check, WWCC, and current Professional Indemnity Insurance
