The Role
An opportunity has come up for a talented Licensed Diesel Mechanic to join team to work on our existing Diesel products. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, professionalism, and discipline when it comes to executing our policies and procedures.
As the Mechanic is required to have a proven track record of work on a number of different products, we are after a someone who has good working knowledge of the relevant specs and applications of both diesel and/or hybrid energy products, as well as current relevant Australian license(s).
Ideally, we’d like for someone to have experience in diesel generators, but will also consider those that have worked on trucks/vans for a period of time.
Duties & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should be able to:
- Diagnose service issues across our product lines, including rostered shifts in tandem with engineering team
- Provide consulting and solutions for existing and new clients and end users
- Work with other service team members to deliver after-sales support
- Prepare periodic reports, as well as improvement plans to be provided to management
- Perform a variety of mechanic-related hands on jobs across the business
- Other duties assigned by managers from time to time

- The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision
- A keen attention to detail to be able to action changes as and when they occur
- The ability to work in a team, both within Service as well as Sales and with other Powerlink departments
- To have an affinity with technology to provide support regarding technical specifications of our products via telephone

Salary
From $70,000 per annum + superannuation
