$191,337 salary package - includes base salary ($168,598), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The Program Benefits and Evaluation Manager leads the development and implementation of contemporary evaluation approaches for the Early Childhood Education and Care Professional Learning Program (ECEC PLP), with a strong focus on learner experience, professional practice uplift and sector impact.
Working across program design and delivery, you will embed evidence-informed and culturally responsive evaluation methods across the program, capturing qualitative and quantitative data to inform continuous improvement and ensure the program remains relevant, accessible and aligned to workforce and policy priorities. The role also supports benefits realisation by connecting evaluation findings to broader outcomes for the ECEC workforce, services, and children across NSW.
You will establish and maintain effective evaluation systems to monitor and evaluate program benefits, providing accurate data on benefit realisation progress and outcomes, to support mid and program close evaluation reports. This is a unique opportunity to implement a practical benefits management framework and approach to define, plan, and track benefits across the program.
About the ECEC PLP
The ECEC PLP Program is a partnership between TAFE NSW and the Department of Education delivering free professional learning for early childhood educators across NSW ‘by the sector, for the sector’’.
The Program supports NSW ECEC professional development where early learning professionals, regardless of educator role or qualification, have access to high-quality professional development to boost access to quality early learning for all children in NSW.
About you
You have prior experience developing and implementing evidence based benefits realisation or evaluation frameworks and plans in a program/project environment, including developing theory-based tools such as program logics, scoping the needs of audiences, developing and implementing data collection plans, and using that data to reporting findings and make recommendations. You bring excellent communication and facilitation skills, and can work with diverse stakeholders in a complex operating environment. You have strong technology capability, and the ability to solve complex problems.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated experience applying benefits realisation or evaluation approaches and methods in a complex project management environment.
