Full Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and reliable Supervisor to join our team at Chipmunks St Marys. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment and has a passion for customer service and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day operations of the playland and café
Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all guests
Manage and support staff during busy periods
Assist with café operations including coffee making (barista duties) and basic food preparation
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and bookings professionally
Support birthday parties and event coordination
Assist with opening and closing procedures

Key Requirements:

Barista knowledge is a must (coffee preparation, milk texturing, etc.)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous experience in a supervisory or hospitality role (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in both front-of-house and kitchen areas
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
