About the role

Nu Space Joinery are seeking a highly organised, reliable, and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant & Personal Assistant to provide a combination of accounting, administrative, and personal support. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day financial administration while also managing schedules, correspondence, appointments, and general administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

Process invoices, bills, receipts, and payments
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Assist with expense processing
Follow up outstanding invoices and payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and other key stakeholders
Assist with BAS, tax, and other accounting requirements as needed
Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and reminders
Manage emails, phone calls, and general enquiries
Organise meetings and take notes when required
Maintain confidential personal and business information
Coordinate household, personal, or business-related tasks as required
Assist with errands, bookings, events, and other ad-hoc requests
Provide general adminstartive support to management

About you

Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, administration, personal assistance, or a similar role
Experience with the Xero accounting program
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial administration
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Proactive, trustworthy, flexible, and dependable
Ability to work independently and use initiative

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
