About the role
Government Shared Services (GSS) is a new division in Department of Customer Service that is leading the way in streamlining processes and transactional shared services to allow our people to better focus on their customers and delivering their services.
We are seeking a Technologies Analyst (ICT) to work in our Device Management stream within the Desktop Operations Team.
This includes identifying, analysing, and documenting technical processes, monitoring systems and implement upgrades/features to facilitate improvement and support efficient delivery of Mobile Device Management tools, technologies, and Operations.
You will be working with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team who values diversity of thought and promotes quality device management. We constantly look for ways to improve, and are quick in evolving our way of working. We welcome applicants from a range of disciplines.
The role is focused on the following technical streams:
Endpoint Manager - Intune, JAMF
Azure AD Management
Active Directory Management
Application packaging, scripting and deployment
Windows 10/11 SOE Administration
Microsoft 365 Administration.
In this role, you will:

Work with external support vendors to advise on changes and manage business correspondence.

Report on Vendor performance to ensure delivery in line with contractual and KPI metrics.

Performing requirement analysis and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

Provide accurate advice about vendor performance issues and solutions to assist with specifying business requirements.

Support the selection, design, and validation/testing of new technologies and improvements.

Act as a technical lead on technical support bridges, escalations, and outages to allow support teams to reach resolutions quickly and efficiently.
To be successful in this role you will have:

Demonstrated experience in implementation and management of technical systems such as:

Intune Management – applications, scripts, policies, ABM,configurations and Autopilot.

Microsoft Azure AD – configurations, user and group management.
On Premise Active Directory user and group management.

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $113574 base plus superannuation
