Join The Epping Club's 5 - Star Events Team as a Chef De Partie.

We're a leading Sydney hospitality venue known for creating unforgettable experiences.

With 150+ team members serving 15,000 guests, our fast paced kitchen focuses on modern Australian cuisines for large scale events, premium dining and vibrant social spaces.

This full time role offers a chance to shape memorable guest experiences with a team dedicated to 5 - star excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assist in planning and executing menu items for various events, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
Overseeing food preparation and cooking during events, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.
Assisting in inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Training and supervising junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food production and adherence to recipes.

Required skills

Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role in events catering
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures including pastry skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong leadership and communication skills within a team environment
Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Attention to detail and precision in executing recipes and plating dishes

Required experiences

Prior experience working in a high-volume events setting
Demonstrated expertise in preparing a wide range of cuisines for large-scale events
Experience collaborating with event planners, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of event menus
Familiarity with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs within an events kitchen environment
Track record of maintaining quality and consistency in food production while adhering to event timelines

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Education:

Certificate I - IV (Required)

Experience:

Event Kitchen: 1 year (Required)

Licence/Certification:

Food Handlers Certificate (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

Australia (Required)
