This isn’t a sink-or-swim graduate role. At Better Rehab, our Graduate Program is built by clinicians, for clinicians! With structure, mentorship, flexibility and backing from a multidisciplinary team, we want to set you up for long-term success beyond your grad year.

You’ll have autonomy over your diary, flexibility across community, clinic and work-from-home options, and strong supervision to support your growth every step of the way.

The Role
You’ll support NDIS participants aged 6–65 years across a varied community caseload, including:

Neurological conditions
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Psychosocial disability

This is a community-based role, delivering functional, participant-led therapy across homes, day centres, parks and clinic spaces. You’ll:

Complete meaningful assessments and design practical therapy plans
Build long-term relationships and see real progress
Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team

Our Graduate Program
We believe graduates thrive with visible, structured and consistent support.
You’ll receive:

A graduate-specific induction week (NDIS, community practice & life at Better Rehab)
1:1 discipline-specific supervision
6 months of structured induction, training and upskilling
4 paid study leave days per year
Laptop, phone and fully resourced therapy kits

Flexibility & Rewards

Better Flex Policy – flexible hours and the ability to flex off once client work is complete
Clear, achievable KPIs
Better Rewards Program – bonus pay, extra leave, PD, tech or experiences
Paid Parental Leave – 8 weeks (primary), 2 weeks (secondary)
Travel reimbursement at 117c/km
National opportunities across 30+ Better Rehab locations

Qualifications

Occupational Therapy qualification (graduating in 2026 or January 2027)
Passion for supporting people with disability
Driver’s licence and own vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
