About the Opportunity
Care Fast is seeking energetic, motivated, and reliable Support Workers to join our growing community participation team across South-East Melbourne.

This role is ideal for support workers who genuinely enjoy helping participants get out into the community, build confidence, stay socially connected, and live meaningful and active lives.

We are looking for workers with a positive attitude, strong initiative, and the ability to motivate and engage participants in day-to-day activities, appointments, and community-based programs.

Company vehicles are available for use as needed at some of the facilities

About the Role
This is a highly active and community-focused support role involving social engagement, appointments, recreational activities, wellbeing support, and capacity building.

Support workers will assist participants to access the community safely while encouraging independence, confidence, routine, and social connection.

Shifts may involve:

Community access and transport support
Attending appointments and allied health sessions
Hydrotherapy and wellbeing activities
Social outings, cafes, shopping, and recreational activities
Building confidence and encouraging independence
Supporting participants to engage in hobbies and interests
Daily living support and routine assistance
Professional documentation and shift notes
Building positive and respectful participant relationships

Professional with strong communication skills
Comfortable working independently in the community
Confident supporting participants in public and social settings
Able to motivate participants and encourage engagement
Calm, adaptable, and solution-focused

Preferred Experience

Previous disability support or community support experience
Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disability, Autism, Intellectual Disability, or mental health presentations
Confidence supporting community participation and capacity building goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with behavioural support highly regarded
