Perfectune Engineering/YELLA TERRA is a leading niche Engineering Company in the South East of Melbourne who is seeking the services of a Mechanical engineer to join the automotive team.
The company is seeking an individual who is self driven and can combine technical knowledge with mechanical engineering skills to provide advice and support on a range of mechanical parts .
This position is a Intermediate Engineering position and suits a recently graduated Engineer with HANDS on mechanical experience in the area of automotive and or industrial manufacturing and wants to move to the next level as a Mechanical Engineer.
As a Intermediate Mechanical Engineer you can expect to be involved in a range of areas including:
Design of High Performance Automotive Products
Production of CNC parts
Quality checks of parts
Understanding of Technical Specification
Assembly of mechanical parts
Assembling, Testing and Prototyping of new parts
You be liaising regularly with other members of the Engineering and Production team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as design, purchasing, production and quality, as well as senior company managers.
Skills and Experience
This position suits an individual who
has proven experience in Mechanical Automotive engineering,
Have an Undergraduate engineering qualification from an AUSTRALIAN tertiary institution
Is driven, self managed and can work autonomously
Excellent mechanical engineering first principles
MUST be competent in either AutoCAD, Solid Works or CATIA
In addition you will be computer literate and possess sound written and verbal communication skills
On-the-job product training will be provided.
To be considered for these positions you must meet the following criteria:
Possess full Australian working rights
Be Located In Melbourne South East Area
Completed your Mechanical Engineering qualification in the last 5 years
A minimum of 3 years previous hands on experience working in a similar environment
Must be passionate about AUTOMOTIVE performance.
Position will lead to full time employment as soon as possible
