Position Details:
Palm Lake Resort Willow Lodge is seeking dedicated and hands-on Caretaker Couple to manage our resort’s operations, provide outstanding service to residents, and ensure the smooth functioning of the resort.
The Resort Caretaker role is made up of 2 full time positions to cover the full scope of administrative & operational requirements of the role. Reporting to, and supported by, the Resort Operations Manager, our Resort Caretakers play a critical role in leading our on site teams to success & providing the iconic Palm Lake lifestyle for our residents.

As Resort Caretakers, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative & operational tasks to maintain the resort's high standards, including:
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone who shares our values and belief that respect, passion, community, impact & safety underpin all the work we do.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

3-5 years experience in a caretaking, facilities, maintenance, groundskeeping or village/resort management role.

Experience performing general maintenance, gardening and property upkeep tasks across a residential, hospitality or resort environment.

Previous experience supervising, training or coordinating staff and contractors.

Current unrestricted driver’s licence with confidence driving larger vehicles or buses.

Administrative experience, supported by strong computer literacy & working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Ability to safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and tools.

Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and safe work practices.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families and visitors.

Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.

Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Positive, proactive and hands-on approach with a strong commitment to maintaining high presentation and service standards.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with strong organisational skills.
