The role

You will join Crayon’s Partner & Sales organisation in Australia, working closely with internal sales, delivery, and leadership teams to build trusted partner relationships and accelerate joint business growth.

As a Partner Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partner relationships. Your role will focus on driving value‑based engagement, joint planning, and successful execution of sales and delivery initiatives to support long‑term partner success.

Key responsibilities:

Being the primary contact for Partners with Crayon & SoftwareOne and responsible for knowing all of Crayon & SoftwareOne’s delivery areas
Developing Partner plans which include a governance model, aiming at the right level with Partner (preferably C-level)
Understanding Partner’s business, strategy and challenges as well as secure ongoing initiatives with Partner
Responsibility for running and owning the sales and delivery processes with Partners
Being proactive and gaining good knowledge of your own market, including competitors and sharing market trends, synergies and news with stakeholders

What we need to see from you

Experience managing channel partners in a sales capacity, preferably in the IT industry
Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and hosting environments with solid technical understanding of hybrid and cloud-based solutions
Knowledge of software licensing and cloud subscriptions
Solid technical understanding of hybrid, public and private cloud
You are analytical and driven, good at building relationships, networks and trust with IT executives
You have a strong understanding of customer’s business and licensing for multiple vendors
You thrive on value-based sales and are able to work long-term and strategically by developing broad and good contact areas.
