A 'hands on' role, our graduates meet clients and are involved in day to day compliance as well as consulting work and special projects from day one. Our team have a passion for client experience and the ability to build and foster long term relationships.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for graduates who have completed or are in their final year of completing a degree in Commerce/Business with a major in accounting or finance and have a desire to pursue Chartered Accounting as part of their professional development.

Applicants must be an Australian citizen or Permanent resident at the time of application
Display solid academic achievement
Enjoy problem solving and critical thinking
Have excellent interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be motivated to continue your development and learning
Enjoy working as part of a diverse team

Key Responsibilities of this role

Preparation of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, workpapers, fringe benefits tax returns & activity statements
Assist team members with advisory and consulting work including structuring, deceased estates, Federal & State government grants, indirect taxes and ASIC compliance
Client administrative matters including ATO mail and managing payments
Liaise with the ATO, SRO, ASIC, banks, fund managers
Develop relationships with your clients and other team members
Continuous learning and development
Develop your knowledge in Xero, Microsoft suite
