About the Role
Are you keen to secure an administrative role that offers flexibility and variety working one full day or perhaps 2 half days each week? This part time Administrative Support Officer role working out of our Bairnsdale District Mechanical Workshop may give you that opportunity.
Reporting to the District Mechanical Officer, Officer in Charge, this role provides essential administrative support to workshop operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation, processing data and correspondence, coordinating purchasing activities, supporting financial administration, maintaining fleet maintenance information and managing electronic records systems. The role also on occasion provides operational support during major fire and emergency incidents.
Key responsibilities include:

Processing accounts payable and receivable through SAP

Recording and reporting fleet maintenance data

Coordinating the procurement and delivery of goods and services for the workshop
About you

Demonstrated administrative and clerical experience
-
Experience in managing a filing or document retention system

Demonstrated ability to operate MSWord and MS Excel, as well as a general operating knowledge of computers

Demonstrated understanding of financial systems, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and stock purchasing

High-level communication and excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision

High-level organisation skills, including ability to schedule work and meet deadlines

Demonstrated ability to perform in, and enhance a team environment
