With new local contracts we’re looking for a Maintenance Superintendent to lead our team of Maintenance Fitters from our Dysart workshop. Enjoy the certainty of a 5:2 roster (Monday to Friday with on call weekends every two weeks) and being part of a great crew.

What you'll do
As the Maintenance Superintendent, you will manage a crew of experienced Maintenance Fitters ensuring our operational sites and equipment are operable, compliant and safe for use.
Lead and develop a maintenance crew across Bowen Basin site operations providing support to the General Manager.
Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and major overhauls on mobile and fixed plant.
Partner with the Maintenance Planner to deliver coordinated, proactive maintenance programs.
Act as the primary point of escalation for field breakdown response.
Manage work orders, defect records, purchase orders, and warranty claims through to resolution.
Generate and analyse maintenance reports to drive accuracy, component life improvement, and cost performance.
Champion a strong safety culture across the team and ensure compliance with all site procedures.
Travel to regional sites as required to support scheduled works.
Work a Monday to Friday, 5:2 roster. An on-call arrangement applies on alternate weekends.
You will bring:
Solid experience managing crews and working with Mobile Processing Units and fixed plant maintenance.
Trade certificate or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
Proven experience leading maintenance crews in mining, resources, or heavy industry.
Strong background in plant maintenance and preventive maintenance planning.
Competency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Confident communicator, able to work with crews, suppliers and senior management alike.
Valid Queensland Explosives Security Card, Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or the ability to obtain).
A hands-on approach and genuine commitment to safety.
Blasting experience highly regarded.
