Registered Nurse - Community Mental Health Team - Incentives Offered
Mental Health Drug & Alcohol - Dubbo

About the role

Do you have experience in Mental Health and have a keen interest inworking with clients in the community providing acute mental health care? The Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Registered Nurse is an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team responsible for providing nursing care to consumers who are experiencing a mental health illness/disorder or alcohol/drug illness. This role practices a trauma informed and recovery orientated care approach in collaboration with MDT, the consumers, their carers and family. The Registered Nurse and MDT engage consumers, carers and family at all levels ensuring an Elevated Human Experience.

The key skills experience in Mental Health and a keen interest in working with clients in the community providing acute mental health care.

The most rewarding aspects of this role is being able to work within the community, meeting new patients and seeing positive outcomes for them from interventions that are put in place. The successful applicant would need to have good communication skills to be able to network with other services within Dubbo.

This position is Monday to Friday with hours of 830 to 5pm.
