Full Job Description

Texas Contractor is currently in search of a highly experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Darwin NT. This opportunity is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65k to 80k per annum, plus super. The candidate selected for this role must be ready to commit to a two-year contract, as we are seeking individuals who are dedicated to long-term employment with our company.

As the chosen candidate, you will need to have a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading and delivering concrete . It is crucial that you possess excellent communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to perform thorough vehicle checks.

Appropriate training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Delivering Concrete to designated locations promptly and safely.
Ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining loads on delivery vehicles.
Communicating effectively with customers and establishing a positive relationship.
Performing routine vehicle checks to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are met.
Comply with load limitations to ensure safe distribution of concrete.
Ensuring cargo security during transportation.
Verifying picking slips and related documentation before delivery.
Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading.
Assisting with loading and unloading of goods.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Truck Driver or a similar role.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying documentation.
Ability to perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
Physically fit to perform acticitties that require physical strength.
Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
