About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to drive the growth of our heavy equipment portfolio across Australia. This role is focused on developing new business and managing key accounts for our range of Aerial Work Platforms, Telehandlers, Cotton Harvesters, and Mining Excavators.

This is a strategic position for a results-driven professional who can build strong client relationships and deliver tailored equipment solutions to the construction, agriculture, and mining sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for the assigned equipment categories.

Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base across civil construction, agriculture, and mining industries.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with major contractors, mining operators, agricultural producers, and equipment rental companies.

Provide technical consultation to clients, matching the right machinery to their operational needs.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close high-value deals.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales planning.

Collaborate with the after-sales and service teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and equipment uptime.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a proven track record in capital equipment sales and a deep understanding of the Australian heavy machinery market.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment industry, specifically with Aerial Work Platforms, Telehandlers, Cotton Harvesters, and/or Mining Excavators.

Strong network and existing relationships within the Australian construction, agricultural, or mining sectors.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage a large territory.

Valid Australian driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.

Highly Regarded:

Experience working with major equipment brands (e.g., JLG, Genie, JCB, CAT, John Deere, Case IH).

Technical or mechanical background in heavy equipment.

Knowledge of Australian compliance standards (AS/NZS) for mobile plant equipment.
