Full Job Description

HSP Vehicle Accessories is an Australian-owned automotive accessories manufacturer specialising in premium 4x4 and ute accessory solutions. The business designs, manufactures, and installs advanced aftermarket vehicle products including electric roller covers, central locking systems, wiring harnesses, electronic accessories, and vehicle integration systems for customers across Australia.

We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our workshop and installation team based in Noble Park North, Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in motor vehicles using specialised diagnostic and testing equipment
Install, maintain, and repair automotive electrical systems and vehicle electronic components
Install and integrate power-operated vehicle accessories including electric roller covers, central locking systems, lighting systems, canopies, and wiring harnesses
Conduct electrical continuity testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of automotive electrical and electronic systems
Test and replace defective alternators, starter motors, switches, voltage regulators, batteries, and wiring systems
Repair faulty ignition systems and electrical wiring in motor vehicles
Assist with accessory electrical integration, testing procedures, and workshop quality control activities
Maintain accurate service, installation, and repair records
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements and manufacturer standards

Requirements:

Relevant qualification equivalent to AQF Certificate III or higher in Automotive Electrical Technology or related field
Minimum 1 -2 years of relevant automotive electrical or automotive technician experience
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and vehicle electronic accessories
Experience working with wiring systems, electrical fault diagnostics, and automotive electronics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively within a workshop environment and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary between AUD 74,000 - AUD 79,000 plus superannuation depending on skills and experience.
