Full Job Description

Ozcare has a casual opportunity available for Registered Nurses supporting our clients at our beautiful Southport Aged Care Facility, De Paul Villa.

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse you will be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

Co-ordination of client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised Care Plan
Assisting the clinical management team with AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments
Providing support and supervision of Care Assistants
Liaising with clients and their significant others, and members of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive client outcomes

Your Attributes

Available to work 3 to 5 days per week with good flexibility across days and shifts
The willingness to go the extra mile
A positive attitude towards health and wellbeing
An interest in contemporary aged care practice

Role Requirements

Be vaccinated against Influenza & have received at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
(P) PAID NDIS Worker Clearance OR National Police Check (valid within the past 3 years)
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Current CPR Certificate (or ALS/BLS equivalent)
Willingness to learn and develop AN-ACC knowledge
Sound clinical knowledge
Good computer & mobile device skills
