Established for over 40 years, SA Heart is a South Australian owned practice with 30 Cardiologists

offering a comprehensive range of Cardiac services.

The Role

The Cardiac Sonographer role offers flexibility, work with a diverse range of patients as well as the

opportunity to work within a caring and committed team of health care professionals.

The role will include:

Working closely with patients to perform diagnostic investigations such as Echocardiograms,

Transoesophageal Echocardiograms, Dobutamine and Stress Echocardiograms.

Preparation of written documentation for diagnostic examinations performed and,

Participation in in-house education and professional development evenings.

The People

The candidates will have a caring and friendly attitude towards both staff and patients and their

Candidates must have:

Clinical and technical experience in Echocardiography.

Post Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent.

Registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.

A professional and caring manner and,

Flexibility to work a range of rostered shifts.
