About the Team

Working with contemporary technology platforms and agile delivery practices, you will contribute to innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and deliver meaningful outcomes for NSW customers. This is an opportunity to work on impactful initiatives while developing experience across digital product delivery, enterprise automation, and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the identification, analysis, and documentation of business processes, systems, functional requirements, and service improvements to enable digital and automation outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges, explore opportunities, and help design practical technology-enabled solutions that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Support agile delivery activities across multiple workstreams including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user story development, testing coordination, and maintaining delivery timelines.
- Translate business requirements into agile documentation, process maps, user stories and maintain project artefacts

Support product development roadmaps and coordinate with automation and development teams to deliver new features, enhancements, and continuous improvements.
- Assist with project coordination activities and contribute to the adoption of agile and digital best practices across the organisation.
To Be Successful in This Role
You will demonstrate experience supporting business analysis activities within digital, ICT, automation, or transformation projects operating in agile environments.
You are naturally curious, proactive, and passionate about technology, with the ability to solve complex problems and translate business and customer insights into practical digital and technology strategies.
Your experience will include a strong affinity with the NSW Fines ecosystem, in particular as it relates to the administration of Penalty notices.
You will bring:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills
- A strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to support multiple workstreams, priorities and project coordination activities
- Foundational understanding or aptitude in enterprise automation, data analytics and visualisation, and agile software development lifecycle practices
- Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Though not essential, a sound appreciation of the needs and activities of Fine Issuing Authorities such as NSW Police, Transport for NSW and Local Councils will be highly regarded.
