Role description
As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to support optimal client outcomes across home, hospital, and centre-based environments. The role includes client assessment, treatment planning, education, and equipment prescription.
You will primarily work within our Ambulatory Care team, delivering multidisciplinary rehabilitation and allied health services across our two sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across a range of settings
- Provide client-centred care, including education and self-management strategies
- Prescribe and manage appropriate equipment and interventions
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and with community service providers
- Support continuity of care for clients, families, and carers
- Supervise and support Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants (AHAs), and students
You will contribute across a broad range of services, including:
- Musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Neurological rehabilitation
- Pain management programs
- Falls and balance programs
- Cancer rehabilitation
- Continence services
- Hand and forearm therapy
- Residential aged care and custodial health services
About you
- Qualified and registered Physiotherapist
- Experience across a variety of clinical areas (desirable)
- Strong commitment to person-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly across settings and services
- Experience supervising junior staff or students (preferred)
