Plantrite is WA's native plant specialist. We grow Australian native plants for revegetation, rehabilitation, and landscape projects across Western Australia — species found nowhere else on earth, grown with care and precision. We take that seriously.
We're hiring a Team Lead to join us at our Bullsbrook nursery.
The role
A Team Lead at Plantrite is a working, hands-on position. You're on the floor every day — allocating tasks, running daily toolbox talks, delivering on-the-job training, and making sure the work leaving your area reflects the standard we hold ourselves to.
The role rotates across nursery functions over time. You don't need to know every area on day one — you need to be someone who picks things up, follows through, and holds the line on quality.
This role also includes participation in a weekend watering roster on a rotating basis when required.
What we're looking for
We're open to applicants from any industry. If you've led a team, held people accountable, and know how to have a direct conversation — we want to hear from you. Horticulture experience is an advantage, not a requirement.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team
- Clear communicator — able to instruct a diverse workforce and run a toolbox talk
- Reliable and hands-on; you follow through without being chased
- Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain within 3 months
Desirable
- Nursery, horticultural, agricultural, or production environment experience
- Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent
- ChemCert Accreditation
- Manual Driver's Licence
