Full Job Description

Primary School Tutor – Casual Position

Blossoming Minds Children’s Education & Wellbeing is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and passionate tutor/educator to join our growing team.

We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can create engaging, supportive and positive learning experiences. This role involves working with primary school students in small group and 1:1 sessions, supporting literacy, numeracy and confidence-building skills in a fun and individualised way.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging tutoring sessions for primary school students

Support students with literacy and numeracy skills

Build positive relationships with students and families

Adapt activities and teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs

Create a welcoming and encouraging learning environment

Complete basic session notes and communicate where required

About You:

Teaching qualifications or currently studying Education (or relevant field) preferred

SLSO(Student Learning Support Officer

Experience working with primary-aged children

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Warm, patient and enthusiastic nature

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Position Details:

Casual position Afternoon hours generally between 3:00pm–7:00pm

Initial set classes available with opportunity for additional hours
