At The Cairns Boyz, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient demolition services. We are a hard-working team looking for a reliable, motivated, and experienced Demolition Labourer to join us on our upcoming projects.

Role Overview

We are seeking a fit, capable, and experienced labourer who can hit the ground running. You will be involved in various aspects of structural and internal demolition, site clean-up, and material sorting. This is a subcontractor role, meaning you must be set up as a business entity.

Key Responsibilities

Performing manual demolition tasks safely and efficiently.
Using hand and power tools (jackhammers, grinders, crowbars, etc.) competently.
Assisting with site preparation, strip-outs, and debris removal.
Adhering strictly to workplace health and safety (WHS) guidelines.
Working collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

Experience: Proven experience working in construction or demolition laboring.
License & Transport: A valid Australian Driver’s License and your own reliable vehicle (to travel between sites).
Business Setup: A current and active ABN (Australian Business Number) AND ACN (Australian Company Number).
Safety: A valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Excellent physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy lifting.
A keen eye for safety and hazard identification.
Great communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
