Locum GP Opportunity Armstrong Creek Doctors (VIC)

Dates: December 2024 March 2025
Classification: Non-DPA/MM1
Remuneration: 70% of billings or $150/hour, whichever is higher, plus accommodation provided

Armstrong Creek Doctors is a leading healthcare provider in Armstrong Creek, VIC, Australia. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team as a Locum through the months of December to March. As a General Practitioner at Armstrong Creek Doctors, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as providing preventive care and health education to promote overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments

Order and interpret diagnostic tests

Provide preventive care and health education to patients

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care

Keep up-to-date with medical advancements and best practices

Adhere to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited university

Current and valid medical license in Victoria, Australia

Proven experience as a General Practitioner

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to keep up-to-date with medical advancements and best practices
