Cape Byron Distillery, the home of Brookie's Gin, is on the lookout for crew to join our team of Bottling Legends!
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working as a part of a small team, shares our values, and is motivated to improve their skills. This is a casual position offering up to 15 hours per week with opportunity to grow, approximately 8am - 4pm and would suit someone looking for part time work.
We are a leading Australian independent and family-owned distillery producing our range of Brookie’s Gin and Whisky. Our company is ingrained in our local community and we have a passion for excellence, sustainability and giving back to our community.
The role will include:
- Bottling Brookie's Byron Dry Gin & Other Cape Byron Distillery products including Whisky.
- Using & operating bottling & packaging machinery
- Assisting with production processes
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse
- Working to production targets
- Ensuring rigorous safety and quality standards
Our ideal candidate will possess the following attributes;
- High level of attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Energy & motivation to achieve goals
- Great ability to work as an important part of a small team or individually
- Some manufacturing/production experience is a plus
