We are seeking a Qualified Fitter/Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service alongside working in a team environment carrying out 10 year major inspections on plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and plant inspections, including 10 year major inspections/re-builds.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Requirements
- Qualified Automotive Mechanic certification or equivalent trade qualification or experience.
- Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repair and/or hydraulic repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driver's licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Forklift Licence is advantageous.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
