Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the efficient day-to-day running of transport and warehouse operations.This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate documentation, supporting compliance, and delivering excellent customer service across multiple operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

Process freight documentation including manifests, consignment notes, and run sheets
Support scheduling, labour coordination, and timesheet processing
Maintain accurate records across logistics systems (e.g. CBS, D365, Tollworks)
Assist warehouse, fleet, and yard teams with administrative support
Manage customer enquiries relating to freight, PODs, and bookings
Liaise with drivers, contractors, and internal teams
Support safety, compliance (CoR/WHS), and reporting requirements
Assist with KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong administration experience in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong data accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience in logistics/transport or knowledge of CoR (desirable)
Familiarity with logistics systems or ERP platforms (desirable)
